On July 13, 2022 in Buckingham, VA, God called out to Addie Mae Tucker and said it was time to come home. She peacefully took her seat in heaven that morning, leaving behind countless memories and laughs for her loved ones to cherish. Addie was born on June 15, 1938 to Alphas and Mossie Ann Watson. At an early age, she dedicated her life to Christ. She was baptized at New Bethel Baptist Church and continued as a faithful member, serving as youth choir director and member of the usher’s board. She greatly enjoyed using her voice and love of music to give praises to God. It was common for Addie to lead her family and friends in songs of worship, whether during a church service or a casual family barbecue.
