Angela Lorene Tyree Johnson of Dillwyn, Virginia passed away on August 13, 2022 peacefully after a long battle of illness. She was born on March 26, 1964 in Buckingham County, VA to George Edward Tyree and Edith Virginia Swann Tyree. She was blessed to share her birthday with her daughter. Angela was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Having graduated from Buckingham County High School in 1982, she worked at Heritage Hall in Dillwyn and Dillwyn Correctional Center before retiring. She was married to Eugene Moseley and Corenzo Brown, both of Dillwyn, as well as Garland Johnson, Jr., of Cumberland. We will always remember her as a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever she went. She gave advice to her many nieces and nephews whenever they would call her. She was preceded in death by her father, George Edward Tyree and brother, Winston Tyree. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her mother, Edith Virginia Tyree; two children, Jennifer Tyree and Marcus Moseley; two grandsons, Triston Zyir Hargrove and Grayson Ellis Tyree; two brothers, Ray Edward Tyree and Terry Lynn Tyree (Estalene); a special friend, Lisa Woodson, who was not only a cousin but her confidant and friend who she phoned every day; and a host of other family and friends
