Antonio Dewane Haskins

Obituary For Antonio Dewane Haskins
Antonio D. Haskins was born on March 28, 1984, in Richmond, Virginia, Antonio was the beloved son of Donna Haskins and the late Michael Charles Haskins, Sr. With profound sorrow, Antonio departed this life at the age of 41, on August 31, 2024, at his home.
Antonio was a proud graduate of Nottoway High School. He was a man of many talents, often known as a “jack of many trades.” He loved fishing, spending time with family, and was always ready to help friends, neighbors, and his community. His warm spirit, laughter, and hard work left an unforgettable mark on everyone he met.
Above all, Antonio was a father. Though life brought challenges, he loved his children deeply and always tried to be present in their lives, giving them the best of himself in the ways he could. He found joy in the little things like caring for his niece Morgan’s dogs and, in true uncle fashion, getting on her nerves whenever he could. His sense of humor and playful spirit will never be forgotten.
Antonio leaves to cherish his memories: three beloved children, Keasia Trent of Farmville, Virginia, and Karina and Marquise Rogers of Bangor, Maine; his mother, Donna Haskins; his siblings, Michael Haskins Jr. of Lynchburg, Virginia, Lakisha Haskins of Farmville, Virginia, Danielle Haskins (Jerry) of Richmond, Virginia, and Sgt. Nikolas Haskins (Brianna) of Fort Liberty, North Carolina. He will be dearly missed by: his grandmother, Florine Haskins of Crewe, Virginia; his loving companion, Shana Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were blessed to know him.
Though his time with us was far too short, Antonio’s love for his children, devotion to family, playful humor, and selfless spirit of service will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
