Arthar V. Booker departed this life on Monday, September 19, 2022 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was born February 14, 1948 to the late Mrs. Frances Booker Johnson. Arthar, better known as Skinny, attended school in Amelia County Virginia. He accepted Christ and joined the Reed Rock Baptist Church. Everyone liked Arthar and he loved going to the Piedmont Senior Center. He worked on the farm for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory: one devoted sister, Mrs. Shirley Carter (Clarence); one brother, Patrick Johnson; three devoted nieces, Dr. Connie Gardner, Ebony Johnson and Barbara Jean Johnson; one devoted nephew, Alphonzo Carter; three great nephews, Tony, Quincy and Javon; one uncle, Samuel L. Booker and a host of other relatives and friends.
