Barbara Jean Brady Tydings, 67, of Pamplin passed away June 10, 2023 in Farmville, Virginia. She was born November 9, 1955 in Cheverly, Maryland to parents Gilbert Wyville-Hammersly, Sr. and Thelma Rosalee Norfolk Brady. She attended Southern Senior High School in Harwood, Maryland. She retired from the District Court of Maryland for Prince George's County, Maryland after 34 years of state service. She was a devoted, mother, grandmother and sister and friend to all who knew her.

Barbara loved to collect “Rooster” themed household items and had a collection of “Troll” dolls.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Gilbert Wyville-Hammersly Brady, Jr. She is survived by sister, June Powers and husband Jim of Pamplin, Virginia and sister, Nancy McClain and husband David of Wingina, Virginia, son Brian Paul Gibson, Sr. and wife Linda of Linthicum and son, John Edward Tydings, Jr of Baltimore, Maryland, grandchildren Brian Paul Gibson, Jr. and wife Brittany of Linthicum, Maryland and Olivia Clover Norman of Edgewater, Maryland.
