Brenda Walker entered eternal life on December 16,
2023, at the Woodland in Farmville, Virginia. Brenda was born to the late Russell E. Davis and Dora Lee Davidson Davis on February 4, 1952.

At an early age, she joined the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her health began to fail. She was a member of the Youth, Young Adult and most recently the Senior Choir. She was the Assistant Director to the Junior Choir and President of the Usher Board. She loved to attend Sunday School.

Brenda attended Prince Edward County Public Schools where she graduated in 1971. She was employed at Craddock Terry Shoe Factory for 22 years and Uniroyal for 3 years, until it closed. She then attended Nursing School and began working as a CNA for Home Aid and Home Recovery for over 12 years. She loved taking care of children and other people. Her favorite thing to do was taking care of family member's children and cooking big meals. Brenda married Donald Glen Walker, Sr and to the union were two sons, Donald Jr and Don Deago Walker. She is preceded in death by her son Don Deago (DeeDee); her parents, Dora and Russell Davis; two brothers, Mark and Lawrence Davis; grandparents, Bertha and Oliver Davidson and Walter and Marie Davis.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 54 years, Donald Walker, Sr; one son, Donald, Jr (Lanay); two adopted daughters, Sheanita Carter of Richmond, VA and Lacresha Jordan (Steven) of North Carolina; two grandsons, Malik Vaughan and Jaquan Scott; one granddaughter, Shaterra Walker; one adopted granddaughter Adazsia Davis; one great-granddaughter, Sa'Liyah Garrett whom she referred to as Precious;, one adopted grandson, Anthony Carter; two adopted granddaughters, Ashiya and Anyjah Jordan; five Brothers, Russell Davis, Jr (Iris) of Keysville, Virginia, Van Davis of Richmond, Virginia, Larry Davis (Robin) of Richmond, Virginia, Jamie Davis (Tracy) of Farmville, Virginia, Troy Davis of Keysville, Virginia; four sisters, Cynthia Brown (Bobby) of Keysville, Virginia, Cheryl Burnette (Gary) of North Carolina, Sharon Davis of Richmond, Virginia, Hope Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister-in-law; Mattie Estelle Wilson of New Jersey; one Godmother, Verna Mae Lockett Jennings and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special cousins, Pauline and Kenny; and two very special friends, Dora West and Marsha Pendergrass.
