Brent Alexander Wiley entered eternal rest at home on August 5, 2026. Born on June 21, 1987, in Newark, New Jersey, Brent was born to Brenda Lee Wiley and Brent Reid.

At the age of 8, Brent was baptized at the family church, Old Green Creek Baptist Church. He helped the church as well as attended many church services & activities. Brent attended and graduated from Cumberland County Public Schools. Following graduation, he held various jobs to include landscaping and tree services and several family businesses. Brent was also employed by Armstrong Furniture Plant and Collins Construction.

Brent was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and beloved member of his family. If you knew Brent, you knew how much family meant to him. He cherished the people he loved and carried a deep, unwavering love for them throughout his life. His loyalty, compassion, and love for his family were evident in the way he showed up for those around him. Brent’s love was boundless, and even in death, that love continues to radiate. His memory, his spirit, and the love he gave so freely will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Brent was proceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Susie and John Hayes Wiley; and his paternal grandparents, Lottie and James Reid.

Brent leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Brenda L. Wiley; his father, Brent Reid (Charlene); his siblings, Essence Wiley, Brian Carter, Brent Reid (Allie), and Michael Major (Stephanie); along with his nieces, Esperanzah “Espy”, Fenyxx “Feenie”, and Temperance “Tempie”; nephews, Uriyah “Rye” and Marcellus “Mari”; and a host of extended family, and many friends who were blessed to know him.
