Cassie Mae Ayres Mosley peacefully departed this life on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from the Cedars Healthcare Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late McKinley and Ida Chambers Ayres of Buckingham County, Virginia. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Lazarius “Bo” Mosley; two sons, Leroy Chambers and Archie Ayres; and a grandson, Randal Chambers. Cassie retired from Conagra Foods after 35 years of service. She was a faithful member of Morning Valley Baptist Church of Dillwyn, VA, until her health declined. Her love for God and strong faith was with her always. Her family was everything to her. To cherish her memories, she leaves behind: two daughters, Margie Coles (James) and Quinn Rush (Billy); four sons, Rick Ayres (Debra), Anthony Chambers (Francine), Tim Chambers (Karen), and Sam Chambers (Barbara); five sisters, Nannie Mae Chambers (Fred), Margaret Lee Johnson (Arcell), Mable Lene Anderson (Frank), Josephine Williams (Robert), and Bernice Ayres. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
