Clarington “Leroy” Bolden, age 57, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia with his family by his side. He was born February 22, 1964 to Thelma Bolden in Cumberland County, VA. Leroy, as he was affectionately called by family, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Zion Baptist Church in Dillwyn, VA. Known to his friends as “Lee or Big Red”, Leroy attended Cumberland County Public Schools, where he participated in various sports.
