Obituary For Daniel Steven Harrison

Daniel Steven Harrison, affectionately called Danny, was born on July 2,
1966, in Greenbay, Virginia, to Bernice Jackson Harrison and the late
Roy Rogers Harrison, Sr. He peacefully passed on into eternal life on
January 24, 2025, at his Farmville, VA residence.
Danny received his education in the Prince Edward County Public
School System, graduating high school in 1985.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age, was baptized, and
joined Mt. Zion Second Baptist Church in Greenbay, VA, under the
leadership of Rev. Samuel Lee. Daniel loved the Lord and knew God’s
Word. He would often share the Word with everyone he came in
contact with after greeting them with a big smile. We never imagined he
would be taken from us so soon.
Daniel was a good father, a loving son, brother, and friend to many. He
had a wealth of knowledge. He was a computer whiz, specialized in
electronics, was a professional photographer, and a trophy angler
fisherman. Unfortunately, his health began to decline over time. He
could always count on his cousin Mark Jackson and family friend, Glenn
Booker to come by and check on him.
Danny will be greatly missed. He leaves to cherish his memories: his
loving mother, Bernice Harrison; three sons, Joshua Harrison, Isaiah
Evans, and Steven Harrison; brothers, Roy Harrison, Jr. (Cheryl),
Antonio Harrison, Wilfred Harrison (Lisa), and Manuel Harrison;
sisters, Angela Gonzalez and Angelena Harrison; uncles, Rev. Leon
Jackson (Carolyn), Plenty Jackson (Ola), Clarence Jackson, Raymond
Warren, and William Bowen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other
relatives, and friends.
