Darryl Wright was born at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, Virginia on April 22, 1971 to the late Napolean Jones and Mabel Wright Jones. The Lord took him home on April 16, 2024 at his home in Pamplin, Virginia.

Darryl attended Prince Edward County Public Schools. He professed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Sulphur Spring Baptist Church in Prospect, Virginia. He then joined Jesus Center Church in Appomattox, Virginia.

He was proceeded in death by: his brother, Darren Wright; sister, Shira Wright Younger; grandparents; Queenie and James Wright; Crawford Jones Jr. and Ethel Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, K’Sherria Younger of Richmond, Virginia; two grandchildren, Ka’Veah Younger and Kian Younger; his mother, Mabel Wright of Pamplin, Virginia; three nephews; Jamar Wright and Corey Wright of Pamplin, Virginia, and Jerrod Wright of Lynchburg Virginia, one niece, Cecily Wright of Williamsburg, Virginia; aunts, Betty jones of Appomattox, Virginia, Ola Wright Davis of Pamplin, Virginia and Mary Wright Stinson of Shreveport, Lousiaina; uncles, Cal Wright and Arthur Wright (Sharon) of Pamplin, Virginia; two devoted friends of many years, William Womack and Kevin Brown; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.
