(Perkins) Sedgwick and brother Elivis Ayers.

Debbie attended public school in Buckingham County Virginia. She accepted christ at an early age and joined Slate River Baptist Church. She loved baking cakes which were referred to a "Debbie Cakes". She also was the head kitchen manager at Tavern on the James, Scottsville, VA. Debbie was an all around person who loved to talk trash. She was loved by so many by being her true authenic self who always kept it real.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories for her devoted fathers George Smith and John Sedgwick, two sons Cotrell Ayers (Dee) and Corey Smith, two grandchildren Anaya Harris and Chase Smith, three sisters Alice Smith, Georgina Smith-Kidd (William), Stacy Swann (Jarvis), six brothers William Ayers, Randy Ayers, Brian Ayers, Jimmy Woodford, Donnie West (Shannon) and a host of devoted nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
