The Lord called our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend Demita Na’Shay Chambers Jones to her heavenly home, on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from her Pamplin, Virginia residence. Demita was born on October 30, 1982, to James Jones and Belinda Chambers in Farmville, Virginia. She was educated in the Prince Edward County Public School System, graduating from Prince Edward County High School in 2001. She was a member of the House of Prayer in Pamplin, VA. She was a very devoted and hard working mother and grandmother for her three children, Ar’Queonna Hurt , Mo’Nayzha Chambers and LaDarian Jones and her granddaughter, Myonna’ Williams, whom she fondly called “Muffin” . She lived in Prospect for many years and became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2003. She worked as a CNA for twenty years and at various facilities including Lynchburg General Hospital. She was so pleased when she purchased her home in 2019. She was loved by many. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Ar’Queonna, MoNayzha, and La Darian; granddaughter, Myonna; her mother, Belinda Chambers; father, James Jones; brother, Alrenzo Jones; grandmother, Connie Chambers; four special children, Amouraa Watkins, Takyiah Minter, Travare’ Patterson, Cormega and Cortez Clayborne; one aunt; two uncles; a host of great aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
