Desirá Dontreall Ford was born May 22, 1996, in Richmond, Virginia to Donald Ford and Gloria Caesar. She passed on January 18, 2025 in Salem, New Jersey.

Desirá, fondly called “Dezzi”, received her early childhood education from Crewe Primary, in Crewe, Virginia and John Fenwick in New Jersey. She graduated from Salem High School in New Jersey. After school, she worked at Ingollingos Grocery Store, Jets Warehouse and Dollar Tree.

Desirá was a member of many churches, some being Spirit of Life COGIC (New Flame), High Bridge Baptist Church, St. James COGIC and Haven.

Desirá was preceded in death by: grandmothers, Mary Arleen Jackson Ford and Susie Johnson West; and grandfather, Joseph Caesar III.

Desirá leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, Donald Ford (Natasha) of Halifax, Virginia and Gloria Caesar of Salem, New Jersey; brothers, Haywood Anderson, Jr. (Rama) of Delaware, Dy’Juan Anderson of New Jersey, Shawn Anderson and Donald Ford, Jr, both of Virginia; sisters, Danielle Ford and Kadeshia Faggins, both of Virginia; Godmother, Annie Eldridge/Bucanventura; Goddaughter, Aliyah Hill; twelve neices and nephews; and host of cousins, relatives and friends.
