Desmond Deltwone Johnson departed this life to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at his home in West Virginia. Desmond was born on October 24, 1992 in Farmville, Virginia to Yolanda Johnson. He attended Prince Edward County Public Schools and graduated from Prince Edward County High School in 2011. He moved to West Virginia after graduation. Desmond was preceded in death by his mother. He leaves to cherish fond memories: three children, Zyion, Cree and Malaysia; two sisters, Crystal Johnson of Prospect, VA and Quashata Johnson of Richmond, VA; two brothers, DaShawn Johnson of Cullen, VA and Eric Johnson of Pennsylvania; his grandmother, Elsie Johnson of Prospect, VA; a loving and devoted aunt, Darlene Walker of Farmville, VA and aunts, Cynthia Jackson and Elsie Johnson, both of Baltimore, Maryland; two uncles, Lonnie Johnson and Jerome Johnson, both of Prospect, VA; three nephews, Quadareou Scott, Di’Andre Johnson and TreAndeous Harvey; three nieces, Ariyanna Johnson, Keyonah Johnson and Amarra Johnson; two very devoted cousins who grew up like brothers, DeCarlos Johnson and Jermaine Walker; three great-uncles; the mothers of his children and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
