Obituary

Desmond Demond Croner was born September 3, 1988 to Sheila Croner and Bernard Walker in Farmville, Virginia. He peacefully departed this life on December 16, 2023 at Lynchburg General
Hospital in Lynchburg, VA.

Desmond confessed Christ as his Savior at a young age, was baptized and joined Zion Baptist Church. He received his education through Prince Edward County Public Schools, graduating from Prince
Edward County High School in 2007. He was employed by KDC Holdings, until his health failed. He loved fishing, dancing, cooking, and
being the “Grill Master”.

Desmond was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Hilda Mae Croner, and a nephew, Kevin Burrell. He leaves to cherish his memory:
his mother, Sheila Croner; his father, Bernard Walker (Senora); three
children, Ke’Miah Hamlett, Desmond Croner, Jr., and Kaziya Davis;
five brothers, Kasheef Croner (Brandis), Octavius Croner, Andrez
Croner, Keith Robertson (Cheree), and Bernard Robertson (Lynette);
five sisters, Kendra Croner, Keandra Croner, Stephanie Walker, Sonia
Walker and Monica Walker; grandfather, Eddie Wesley; three uncles,
Herbert Croner, Walter Croner, and Henry Ferguson; his girlfriend,
Malaysia Davis, and a special friend, Shardae Hamlett; and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
