Funeral services for Dr. Washington took place in Dover, Delaware at the Delaware State University on November 1, 2018, with interment in the Holy Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery in Dillwyn, Virginia. The Bennie Smith Funeral Home of Dover, Delaware were in charge of the services.
