Obituary For Earnest Edward "PeeWee" Bolden Jr.

Earnest Edward Bolden Jr. passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Chippenham Medical Center in Chesterfield, Virginia, at the age of 68. Pee Wee”, as he was affectionately known, was born on November 5, 1957 in Virginia, to Mrs. Lillian Bolden and the late Earnest Edward Bolden Sr.

He gave his life to Christ at an early age and became of member of Zion Baptist Church in Dillwyn, Virginia, where he was a faithful member of the Men’s Chorus.

After receiving his education, Earnest went on the working in Trucking. He worked at Holly Farms, Tysons, Richard B Rudy, and LeSueur Trucking. He was a hard worker, loving and caring. Pee Wee gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He knew everyone; and wherever he went, he had to speak.

He loved to relax and watch his westerns; he loved working, and he loved being outside doing yard work or cutting grass. Most of all, he loved his family and his grandchildren.

Earnest was preceded in death by: his father, Earnest Sr.; and two brothers, William Bolden Sr and Philip Bolden.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Mary Swann Bolden; his mother, Lillian Bolden; two daughters, Symone Bolden and Charlene Braxton;

three grandchildren, Rausheen Terry Jr., Dayla Chambers and Sienna Chambers; four sisters, Sarah Rogers (Cleave), Sherry Jones (Moses), Nicole Bolden and Sharon Fife; two brothers, Randy Bolden (Wendy), and Kirt Bolden (Naketta); devoted aunts, Mabel Gregory (Joseph), Grace Childress and Ardell Reed (Glenn); a devoted brother-in-law, James Swann(Deloris Anderson); devoted nieces, Tiara Bolden and Brenda Bolden; a devoted nephew, William Bolden Jr.; several devoted friends, Billy Liggins, Aleen Zimmerman (Michael), Samuel Harris, Craig Sellars and Apostle Daisy Foster; and a host of other family members and friends.
