Elsie Mae Stanton was born June 5, 1935 to Walter and Jennie Stanton in Dillwyn, Virginia. She departed this life March 29, 2021 at University of Virignia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Walter and Jennie Stanton; three sisters, Mary Winn, Mattie Lee and Lillie Gregory; two brothers, Franklin Stanton and John Stanton.
