Florence Mae Redd Bagley was born May 14, 1938, one of eight sisters born to Warner and Pinky Redd of Prince Edward County, Virginia. She transitioned to eternity on November 30, 2022, from the Wayland Health and Rehab Center in Keysville, Virginia. Florence received her education through the Prince Edward County Public Schools. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, was baptized, and joined Forest Baptist Church. Florence was known by many and loved life. She loved cleaning her house, especially sweeping her floors day and night. She also loved the outdoors. She was a very loving person, who will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bagley. She leaves to cherish her memory: two sisters, Dorothy and Alice; her five children, Patricia, Arthur, Cheryl, Daisy and Raymond; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors. God saw you were getting tired so He did what He knew best. So, He came and stood beside you and whispered “Come and rest.” You gave no one a last farewell. No, not even a good-bye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.
