Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Gail Shena Scott, departed this life on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at The Farmville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Farmville, Virginia. She was born on December 28, 1965 to Tyrone Logan and Gladys Etta Jackson Scott in Farmville, VA. She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age, was baptized and joined First Baptist Church in Farmville, VA. Gail received her education through the Prince Edward County Public School System. She was a smart, very intelligent and independent young lady. She was employed by Southside Community Hospital in Environmental Services. She also worked for Taco Bell, Days Inn and STEPS Services. Gail was a lovable person. She loved to cook, care for cats, plant and care for flowers and was a die-hard Red Skins fan. Gail was preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Frances Cordell and Sharon Copeland; and her great nephew, Khy’Ree Keel. Fond memories will be forever cherished by: her one and only beautiful daughter, Sheena Scott; one active grandson, Ka’Den Garnett; two sisters, Lisa Scott and Jamice Scott; two brothers, Henry Scott and Michael Scott; four aunts, Mary Frances Gee, Lillie Scott, Nancy Walker (Phillip), and Shirley Brown (Walter); a very special devoted and loving friend, Joseph Evans and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed.
