Geneva Marie Jones was born on January 28, 1948 in Prospect, Virginia to the late Jesse Jackson and Juanita Turner. She was married to Plummer Jones and had a son, Randy Jones. They are a very close family with strong Christian values. She developed a personal relationship with God and was baptized at an early age. She became a member of First Rock Baptist Church in Prospect, VA. Throughout the years as a member of First Rock Baptist Church, she served in several capacities financial secretary, vice-president of the pastor’s aid ministry, co-chairperson of the kitchen committee and assistant youth director. She also served at Peaks Baptist Church in Prospect, VA by singing in the Peaks Baptist Senior Choir. She enjoyed singing and giving God praise. She loved the Lord.
