George Lee Anderson, fondly known as “Oak”, departed this life on Friday, February 26, 2021 at The Woodland Nursing Home in Farmville, Virginia. He was born July 8, 1952 to Moses and Lucille Booker Anderson in Dillwyn, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Earl, Larry, Robert and Maggie Anderson. George accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Dillwyn. He attended S. J. Ellis School and was employed by the Llewellyn Wood Yard for many years.
