On Sunday, March 13, 2022, Harold Eugene Forbes transitioned from his earthly home to eternal life. He was born September 11, 1963 to the late Eugene and Classie Ayres Forbes in Washington, DC. Harold accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized, and joined Slate River Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his demise. He received his education through Buckingham County Public Schools. Harold was an outdoors person, working around the neighborhood, doing odd jobs. He loved children and was often babysitting for his nieces and nephews. He leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, George Ayres, Sr.; two uncles, Willy Forbes (Charlotte) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Luther Forbes of Washington, DC; one aunt, Emma Forbes of Buckingham, VA; two nephews, George “Punch” Ayres, Jr. and Shedrick Ayres-Chambers; three great nieces, Tyana Ayres, Zaniah Ayres-Chambers, and Emeri Ayres-Chambers; three great nephews,

Tyrik Ayres, Zy’major Ayres-Chambers, and Zamarion Ayres- Chambers; and a host of cousins and friends.
