Our son, Hollis Elliajhuan-Wykarius Cordell left this world October 12, 2022 at 11:34 a.m. at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born November 12, 1994 to Nicole Lisa Cordell and Hollis Edward Witherspoon in Farmville, Virginia. Since a child, Hollis had a lovable demeanor and personality. He was always kind, checking out the world and always had a smile on his face. Hollis attended and graduated from Prince Edward County Schools where he attended from Head Start forward. At an early age, Hollis confessed Christ as his savior and joined New Redeem Church in Cumberland, VA. He loved the Lord. Though he was born with a heart condition, he never let it stop him or get in the way. He was always doing something for somebody. Hollis was a dedicated son, big brother and friend to all who knew him. He loved his nieces, nephews and little cousins. He was always sending money to them, asking them if they need anything. He was always concerned.
