On December 1, 2024, Irvin, as he was fondly called, left his earthly vessel, gained his wings and began his heavenly journey, from Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia. Irvin was born March 21, 1962, in Charlottesville, VA to Maynard and Alease Allen
Cain.

He was baptized at an early age and joined Zion Baptist Church in Dillwyn, Virginia. He sang on the Young Adult Choir during his youth. He received his education through the Buckingham County Public School System. He was employed by the Department of Corrections, Creative Interiors, and the United States Postal Service. He was classy dresser, who loved to have fun.

Irvin was preceded in death by: his parents, Alease and Maynard Cain; and his oldest brother, Douglas Allen. He leaves fond memories to be cherished by: his sisters, Laura Mae (Matt) and Deborah (Norman);
one brother, Maynard; nieces, Stephanie and Latrice; nephew, Steven (Phoebe), great nieces, Shauntice, Shykera, Jasmine and Lotosha; great nephew, Stephan (Marissa); great-great niece, Jaliya; and great-great
nephews, Jayceon and Ezra. He also left special memories to his special friend Brenda and devoted friends, Amanda and Jerry Duncan, other
family members and close friends.
