Joe Chambers Committal & Benediction ames was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Dillwyn, VA and was a graduate of Carter G. Woodson High School. After graduation, he went to work at Kyanite Mining, from whence he retired. ames was married to Ernestine Stanton Marshall, who preceded him in death. He loved lawncare and landscaping. He also loved shopping at flea markets, but his favorite pastime was talking on his CB radios. James was always smiling and he was a joy to be around. ames leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Joshua Marshall, Jr. of Dillwyn VA; one cousin, Allen Ross, Jr., who cared for James after he became ill; a special friend, Mary Rucks, who looked after him and cared for him; a host of cousins and a county of friends.

So very sorry to hear about James's passing. Had not talked to him in quite awhile. Used to enjoy seeing him and talking. He could really take care of a vehicle and make it shine. Praying for family and friends!
