Jeanette Elizabeth Morgan Perkins was born July 10, 1939 to Henry and Mary
Bartee Morgan of Buckingham County, Virginia. She peacefully entered eternity
on March 1, 2025 from Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia.
She accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized and joined St. Joy Baptist Church
in Buckingham, VA. In her later years, she enjoyed various crafts, especially
beading and crocheting.
Jeanette was preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Mary Morgan; two
sisters, Mary Ann Brown and Audrey Edmonds; and two brothers, John Henry
Morgan and James Richard Morgan.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three sisters, Ella M. Perkins, Lois Wright,
and Rebecca Morgan, all of Buckingham, VA; one aunt, Barbara Bartee; a host of
nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

God gives us each the gift of life

He watches us with loving care
And takes us by the hand.
He blesses us with countless joys,
And guides the lives we’ve planned.
Then when our work on earth is done,
He calls us to His side, to live in happiness
