Obituary For Jeremy Xavier Watson-Jones

Jeremy Xavier Watson-Jones was born to Travis J. Jones, II and Kimerlee Watson Jones on September 25th, 1988 in Farmville, Virginia. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age at New Store Baptist Church, Farmville, VA. Jeremy was a 2007 graduate of the Buckingham County Public School System where he played football and baseball. He loved baseball with all of his heart and met many along his baseball journey. Jeremy had a love for all sports.This love inspired him to give back to the community as he began his quest of recruitment and coaching. He loved the Washington Commanders even after their name change from the Redskins. His knowledge of all sports kept everyone in the know and if there was ever a question about anything in life dealing with baseball, Jeremy made sure you were fully knowledgeable. At 33, he was suddenly summoned to his heavenly home on Saturday June 4th, 2022. He was preceded in death by: his great- grandparents, Kenneth L. Jones, Inice Jones, Furman Glover and Bertha Randolph; one uncle, Brandon Brown; one nephew, Xolani Bullock; great aunts, Lillian Patterson and Eula Johnson; great uncle, Kenneth D. Jones and cousins, Lance Woodson, Paul Johnson and Angelita Allen. Jeremy leaves to mourn his memories: father, Travis Jones, II (Sharon) of Meherrin, VA; his mother, Kimerlee Watson-Jones of Charlottesville, VA; the love of his life, his daughter, JahMoni Watson- Jones of Farmville, VA;
