John Wardell Swann was born February 10, 1959 in Farmville, Virginia to the late Walter and Gertrude Swann. He departed this life and entered his eternal rest on September 11, 2019 at the University of Virginia Hospital. At an early age, John confessed Christ and was baptized at the Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church. John attended Buckingham County School Systems. He worked various jobs, but he loved working on cars, shing and gardening. John was always willing to lend a helping hand.
