Larry Eldridge was born June 4, 1954, in Buckingham County, Virginia to Winifred Eldridge. He departed this life for eternity on January 17, 2023, at his Dillwyn, VA residence. Larry accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age, was baptized and joined the Baptist Union Baptist Church. He graduated from Buckingham County Public School. Upon graduation, he joined and served in the United States Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged. He was a very quiet person and remained to himself. He enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows, doing yard work, and was always willing to help anyone he encountered. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Winifred Eldridge and his oldest sister, Diane Eldridge-Anderson. He leaves to cherish his memory: his sister Deirdra Eldridge; two brothers, Fritzell Gregory (Shirley) and Adam “Jerome” Young (Emma); one brother-in-law, Emmanual Anderson, Jr.; one aunt, Mary Anderson of Connecticut; a very special niece, Khadijah Eldridge; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
