Leroy L. Faggins was born March 19, 1955 to William and Nannie Hubbard Faggins of Cumberland County, Virginia. He was one of five children born to the couple. He transitioned to be with the Lord on May 6, 2023 from Memorial Regional Medical Center, in Mechanicsville, VA.
Leroy attended Cumberland County Public Schools for his early education, but completed his education by obtaining his GED, instead of graduating. He was employed for many years with the Richmond Times Dispatch and the City of Richmond, until he retired. He was currently working as a security officer with Admiral Security Company, in Richmond, VA.
He was a fun-loving man - always with a laugh or something crazy to say. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Faggins and a brother, Moses Faggins. He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted life partner, Brenda Cox of Richmond, VA; three children, Lekeisha Watkins (Alphonso), LaTroy Faggins (Carla), Keitha Cox, and Linwood Wortham; one brother, Elmo Faggins of Richmond, VA; one sister, Vivian Spragues ( James) of Cumberland, VA; two devoted cousins, Andrew Faggins, Sr. and Andrew Faggins, Jr. both of Richmond; a devoted niece, Adrian of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
