Obituary For Lynn Roy Laury Jr.
Our loved one, Lynn Roy Laury Jr., was born May 16, 1963, to the late Lynn Sr. and Lula Austin Laury. He departed this life on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his home in Buckingham, Virginia.
Lynn confessed Christ at an early age and was a life long member of the Union Grove Baptist Church.
Lynn loved working on cars and lawnmowers. He also loved to go fishing with his friends. Most of all, he loved entertaining by having cook outs and helping others. While Lynn enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, once you got to know him, he had a laugh and a smile you couldn’t forget.
Lynn Jr. was preceded in death by: his parents; his brother, Randolph Laury; three sisters, Carolyn Carey, Barbara Laury, and Marilyn Laury.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Chantel Laury of Buckingham, Virginia, Tirrell Laury of Greene County, Virginia, and Tawanna Killebrew (Kris) of Buckingham, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Markel, Mya, Trevion, Trinity, Kamara, Tyrell, Amare’ and Kristopher; three brothers, Ernest Laury of Forest, Virginia, Nathaniel Laury of Goochland, Virginia, and Clyde Laury of Georgia; two sisters, Darlene Anderson ( David) of Dillwyn, Virginia and Catherine Laury of Charlottesville, Virginia; sister in law, Joanne Laury; nieces, Bernadette Laury, Crystal Laury, and Eunice Landrum; nephews, Bernard Carey, Nelson Foster and Jerel Laury; a longtime special friend, Donna Austin; a devoted companion, Rosemary Williams; and a host of other family and friends.
