Mace Florine Eanes Jones was born on July 17, 1935, to John
Jasper Eanes and Betty Johnson Eanes. She transitioned to eternal life
on August 31, 2023, from The Woodland in Farmville, Virginia.
Mace accepted Jesus Christ in her life at a very young age and
attended many different churches through the love of Christ. She
attended Russell Grove High School in Amelia County, VA. She
worked as a Certified Nursing Aide for 20 years, and did private duty
care, because, she truly enjoyed taking care of the elderly.
She had several hobbies that she enjoyed: reading the Bible;
listening to her spiritual music; listening to T. D Jakes ministry;
watching western movies; doing word search books, and playing bingo.
She married the late Willie C. Jones on November 24, 1956.
Together they had three children: Willie, Janet and Pamela.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by: her parents, John
and Betty Eanes; her son, Willie Alonzo Jones; brother, William
Eanes; and sister, Hazel Ross.
She leaves to cherish beautiful memories: two daughters,
Janet Temple of Capitol Heights, Maryland and Pamela Jones of
Jetersville, VA; five grandchildren, James Temple, Jr., Matthew
Hicks, Javon Temple, Anjelica Jones, and Jasmine Brittant Jones; one
great grandson, Jace Temple; one son-in-law, James F. Temple; one
daughter-in-law, Nancy Jones. She also leaves behind: three sisters,
Betty Jeter, Elsie Eanes Goodman, Charlene Palmer; and host of
nephews, nieces, other family members, and friends.
