On May 5, 2022, Mark Anthony Wright, Sr. transitioned from his earthly home to his Heavenly, as he said, “Tell everyone I checked-out.” He was born January 23, 1970 to Sarah Wright and the late Willie Wright. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jake and Evelyn Henry and paternal grandparents, Benny and Elizabeth Wright. Mark was a graduate of Appomattox County High School, class of 1988. After graduating high school, Mark began working at Thomasville Furniture and was employed there until their doors closed. Mark then moved to Maryland where he was employed by Verizon and Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO) where he was employed and continued to work until his health begin to fail. Mark leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Sarah Wright; three children, Mark Wright, Jr., Justice Wright and Mariah Wright; brother, Brian Wright (Shelia); two cousins that were like sisters, Cindy Wesley and Lenora Wesley; four nieces, Monet Woodard, Brianna Wright, Jemesha Wesley and Jamie Scott; one great niece, Skylar Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends
