Melvin Leroy Dibble was born August 10, 1953 to the late Neil Dibble Sr. and Anna Booker Dibble in Buckingham County, Virginia. He passed away August 15, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Neil Dibble, Sr. and Anna Booker Dibble; siblings, Pauline Virginia Dibble Branch, Annie Louis Dibble, and James Edward Dibble.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his son, LaVonta "Rashad" Whitikar; brother, Neil Dibble, Jr.; one remaining aunt, Jannie Jones and one remaining uncle, William Booker; a devoted friend Rennie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
