Obituary For Milton Eugene Fowlkes

Milton Fowlkes, beloved husband, father, stepfather, son, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones.

Milton was born on February 3, 1969, in Baltimore, Maryland. He spent part of his early life in Pennsylvania before eventually making his home in Virginia.

Milton married the love of his life, Angela Fowlkes, beginning a marriage filled with love, companionship, and family. Together, they built a life and shared many years of memories.

Milton had a lifelong love of being behind the wheel. Driving was more than simply a job to him—it was something he genuinely enjoyed.

Throughout his life, he worked as a bus driver, limousine driver, truck driver, and ultimately as a fuel driver.

No matter what he was driving, Milton was happiest when he was on the road.

When he wasn't on the road, Milton could often be found outdoors with a grill going. He loved to cook and especially enjoyed grilling ribs, chicken, burgers, and just about anything he could put on the grill.

Whether it was a special occasion or simply a day when the weather was nice, Milton was always ready to fire up the grill and cook for the people around him. These simple moments of good food, family, and time spent together will be among the memories his loved ones cherish most.

Milton was a father to his daughters, Piccola and her sister, and a stepfather to Lineth. He also cherished his relationship with his mother Virginia Harris. He will be lovingly rememered by, son-in - law Jesse, his uncle Fulton, his cousin Denise, extended family, and many friends.
