Jerlean and Alfrance both went home with their Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Jerlean was born May 29, 1939, in Green Bay, Virginia to John Mercy Jackson and Alice Warren Jackson Mottley.

Jerlean accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Zion Second Baptist Church in Green Bay, VA. For many years, she faithfully served in the following ministries: usher, choir, missionary and food committee. She was educated in the Prince Edward County Public School System.
