On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, God sent his angels to retrieve a special woman to all of us. Mattie Arnelle Kidd Hamlett was born to the late Percy W. Kidd, Sr. and Mattie L. Robinson Kidd on June 8, 1959. In addition to her parents, Mattie was preceded in death by four sisters, Phyllis Dunson, Lois Scruggs, Peggy Hannah and Lorraine Kidd. She was also preceded by one brother, Percy W. Kidd Jr.
