Nathaniel Dortha Lee Croner, better known as “Big Boy”, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 3,2023 from his Evergreen, Virginia residence. He was born in Prince Edward County, VA, to Ernest Butler Croner and Dorothy Mary Lizzie Jennings Croner, who, along with his siblings, preceded him in death. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age, was baptized and became a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hixburg, VA. He also visited various churches in the area. He attended Carver Price School in Appomattox, VA, but stopped at an early age and went to Job Corp to become an electronic technician. Big Boy enjoyed dancing and making people laugh. He was a strong spirited person with a good heart. Everybody loved him dearly. He leaves to cherish his memories: a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and his devoted friends, Sue Hodge, Sheila and Mike Patel, Connie Atkins, Samantha Horsley, and L.M. Thomas.
