Mrs. Nettie J. Palmer, affectionately called Nancy, peacefully departed this life on July 14, 2022, at her home in Burkeville, VA. Her absence is deeply felt by all who knew her, because to know her was to love her. Nancy was born on April 24, 1941, to the late Mr. Carter Jackson and Mrs. Bertha Todd Jackson. At a young age, she joined Gravel Hill Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Rev. Benjamin Agnew. She remained true to her faith throughout her life and loved reading scriptures, watching her favorite Christian program, and listening to gospel music.
