Pamela L. Swann Hatcher, daughter of Victoria Swann and James Woodson was born Jan. 19, 1970 in Buckingham County, Virginia. On Tuesday May 10, 2022, God dispatched His angels to give Pamela her wings and escort her to eternal life. Pamela confessed Christ at an early age and joined Zion Baptist Church of Dillwyn, where she sang on the Youth Choir. She received her education through the Buckingham County Public School System. Having various occupations during her life, Pamela had been recently employed by Murphy USA and McDonald’s of Powhatan, VA. Always smiling, she loved being surrounded by her family and friends and would do anything for them. She enjoyed music, especially the oldies but goodies. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and son, Julian Rose. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Reginald Hatcher, Sr.; her four children, TriQuan Swann, Ashley Swann, Regina Hatcher, and Reginald Hatcher, Jr.; one sister, Samantha Swann; two brothers, James Swann (Rachel) and Lester Swann (Christina); grandchildren, Mikaila Walker, JaKira Rose; Kaidence Hatcher, Kyron Stanton, and TriQuan Swann Jr.; uncle, Matthew Swann; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
