Perry Wilfred Turner, 63, of Buckingham County, VA departed this life Friday, April 15, 2023 at his family home. Perry was born August 3,1959 in Buckingham County to the late Eva and James Turner. He was preceded in his death by his brother Michael Turner. He was educated in the Buckingham County Public School System. Perry worked as a logger and landscaper until he retired. He joined Ebenezer Baptist Church at an early age. He was a loving family man and devoted to his children and grandchildren. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan, as he would always say " How Bout Dem Cowboys", he enjoyed watching his westerns, reading his Bible and he enjoyed singing on the Men's Choir. Perry leaves to cherish his memory; his daughters; Shamica Branch (Tyrone) of Lynchburg, VA and Jaleesa Jones of Charlottesville VA, four grandchildren; Takeima, Maliyah, Shatyra and Jawarren, three brothers; Levi, Clyde and Calvin Turner (Tina) of Dillwyn VA, nine sister; Rosa Ayres (Thomas) and Linda Turner of Scottsville, VA, Peggy Gough of Gaithersburg, MD, Flora Turner (William), Brenda Stanton, Betty Turner and Hilda Turner of Dillwyn VA, Pamela Rose of New Canton, VA, Edna Davis of Waldorf, MD, and Nora Ayres of South Carolina, five Aunts; three uncles; a special friend; Laverne Mosby-Rush, a bonus son; Joshua Blakey, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and the Pilgrim Baptist Church Family.
