Obituary For Priscilla Annette Tunney Gilliam

Priscilla Annette Gilliam of Farmville, Virginia was born September 4, 1962 at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York to Ruby and Hilton Tunney. Priscilla was the youngest of four children. Priscilla departed this earthly home November 9, 2025 as a resident of Farmville, Virginia, peacefully in the privacy of her own home.

Priscilla earned an education from Boys and Girls High School and Borough of Manhattan Community College. At an early age, she attended Grace Baptist Church and went on to attend Christ Fellowship Church in Manhattan, New York. Later in life, she moved to Virginia with her boys and joined Sharon Baptist Church, where she became a loyal active member.

Priscilla dedicated her life to serve others as a public service worker and recently retired from Central Virginia Health Services- Woman Health Center of Farmville, Virginia.

Priscilla’s dedication spread through her love for her family, friends, and devotion to her church. She may have given birth to only two boys, but she gained a whole community of children through her kids, and each of them loves her as if she belonged to them. To God be the Glory she found an endless love and married Keith Gilliam.

She is proceeded in death by: her father, Hilton Tunney and brother, June Tunney.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Ruby Tunney; her husband, Keith Gilliam and mother-in-law, Barbara Gilliam; her sons, Trevis Brown (Jasmine-Angelika) and Deon Brown (Nikkia); two grandchildren, Zaniyah Brown and Elijah Brown; sisters, Dieitrichs Tunney and Sister-Cousin Mona Perkins; brother, James Perkins; sister and brother-in-law, Yetta Gilliam, Kim Witcher and husband Alvin, Robert Sanders Jr and wife Demetria; nephew Kenneth Tunney and wife Shanell, Kenneth Perry; Aunt Dorothy Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relations and friends.
