Ralph Derwin Eanes, Jr. was born December 18, 1957 in Keysville, Virginia and raised in Prince Edward County. He departed this life on May 13, 2024 in Hampton, Virginia. Ralph Eanes Jr. was the first of four children born to the late Ralph Eanes Sr. and Fannie Mae Eanes. He was widely known in his hometown as “Raunchy” to which his uncle named him after a song on the radio.

Ralph leaves behind a lovely family to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Janet T Eanes; daughters, Krystle Eanes and Kimberly Elimbi (Franklin); his brothers, Tyrone and Jermaine Eanes Sr.; sister, Faith Eanes; grandchildren, Zidan, Zarah and Zelma; nephews, Russell Eanes, Cortissa Fuller, Jermaine Eanes Jr., Jordan Eanes and Teaonna Eanes; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
