Ralph Wayne was born on June 20, 1953 in Stamford, Connecticut to the late Charlie Lee and Rose Marie Brown Wayne. He was the youngest of three children from this union. He was educated by the Stamford Public School system and was a graduate of Rippowam High School Class of ’71. He was a versatile athlete and competed in both Varsity Football and Track & Field. Later, he attended Grambling State University and graduated in 1973 with a major in architectural drafting.
