Obituary For Rinda Diane Robinson

Mother Rinda Diane Robinson returned to her heavenly home on September 15, 2023. Rinda, who was called by her middle name Diane was born on March 12,1956 in Honolulu, HI the oldest child of Robert "Bobby" and Susie Miller: She grew up all over the world as they traveled with her father who was in the Air Force. She has lived in Hawaii, France, Panama, Montana, Richmond, and they finally settled in Cartersville. Diane attended a few school systems, however graduated from John Marshall High School in Richmond, VA in 1974. Diane accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the New Hope Baptist Church in Car-tersville, VA. She later in life became a faithful member of the Union Outreach Fellowship Church, Farmville, VA under the leadership of Bishop Lylton and Overseer Salonge Crenshaw. She sang on the Union Baptist Inspirational choir and served as an armor bearer for her pastor. She was a devoted member and rarely missed church or any function that was going on. She later became a church mother of UOFC and served on the National Mother's Board for Word World Harvest Fellowship of hurches, Inc, under the leadership of Apostle Dr. James L. Spence who affectionately called her "Mother D*. Mother Diane served nationally on the administration team and was usually the first face people would see as the entered Holy Convocation. Diane was a very hard worker. She was employed by G.E. in Richmond, VA. She later went on to work for her father in Miller Jan-itorial, a successful janitorial service that she worked for until they dissolved the company. Diane then went on to be a driver for the Cumberland County Public Schools transporting troubled kids to alternative schools. Diane had a love for people and would often be found taking in those that needed somewhere to stay or those that needed a mother's love. Diane sang with her family, group The Cousin Gospel Singers growing up, where she led the song "I'm on the Right Road Now*. Diane was also a member of the Keys of Heaven Gospel Ensemble, a family group, for many years. Diane was known for her quick witty one liner's, her pound cake and sweet potato pies. Diane was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years James Louis Robinson Sr., her parents Robert and Susie Miller, 2 nephews Nathaniel Staton and Joshua Smith She leaves to cherish his memories 3 kids Lalita Anderson (Mack), James Jr (Tanya), Michael. Shonda Gilliam a Special cousin who she loved as a daughter. 4 Grandchildren Timothy "T J" Jackson, Christian Jackson, Chelsea Baker, Camryn Baker. 3 sisters Salonge (Lylton), Pamela (Nathaniel) Carla (Frank). 1 Aunt Annie Coleman and 1 uncle Robert Gilliam. A host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Her best friend Hope O'rourke.
