Obituary For Samson Lee

Samson Lee was born December 14, 1957 to Paul Lee Sr. and Mabel Eppes Lee of Rice, Virginia. On March 25, 2024, our hearts were saddened to learn that during the early hours of the morning. God dispatched his angels to visit our father, brother and friend, and take him from labor to reward.

He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age, was baptized and joined High Rock Baptist Church. He attended Nottoway County Public Schools, later being employed by Craddock-Terry Shoe Factory and The Carpet House. He was employed with The Carpet House for over 30 years until his health begin to fail. Samson was a very dedicated and hard-working employee. People often remember him as being a joyous and happy person to be around.

Samson was proceeded in death by: his parents; one sister, Janice, Booth and two brothers, Paul Lee Jr. and Thomas Eppes Sr.

Sampson leaves to cherish his memories: his loving children, Philip Lee of Richmond, Virginia and Andrea Lee of Rice, Virginia; two granddaughters; one brother, Billy Eppes (Sue) of Prospect, Virginia; seven sisters, Bernice VanRomondt (Purcell) of Amelia, Virginia, Lucille Eppes of Rice, Virginia, Stella Allen, Christine Brown and Joyce Smith (James) all of Farmville, Virginia, and Phyllis Foster (Chris) of Oklahoma; one devoted cousin who came to see him all the time, Wilson Todd Jr. of North Carolina; his devoted caregiver and friend, Alvina Rice of Keysville, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
