Obituary For Samuel John Ayers
Samuel John Ayers was born on September 22,1953 in Buckingham, Va to the late Woodrow and Louise Ayers. God dispatched angels to escort “Sam” home on July 29, 2022 in Jersey City, NJ.
“Sam” as family and friends affectionately called him attended Buckingham Elementary School. He graduated from the Carter G. Woodson High School. He was raised up in Mourners Valley Baptist Church.
He later moved up north to secure work.
Sam was a car enthusiast he loved the older models. He enjoyed Art, Cars, Music, and with his talent in electrical and carpentry he helped so many people.
Sam met and married his formal wife Michele Sims and from that union the many greatest highlights was born his daughter Crystal and then later in life he was overjoyed with the birth of his granddaughter Skye. He always went above and beyond leaving an everlasting impact on their lives.
Sam was quite subtle but yet feisty at times. He was a fighter and fought until the very end.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents: Wooddrow and Louise Ayers: His brothers Alexander, Joe, Burriss, Woodrow , Robert, James, Leroy and His Sister Helen.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Crystal D. Sims. His Granddaughter Skye A.M. Ritchens. Two Sisters Darlene (Bill) Miles. Gertrude Ayers: Four Brothers Andrew(Ann) Ayers, Frank (Rose) Ayers, Lester (Tiesla)Ayers and Earl Ayers. He also leaves to cherish a host of Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives, and Friends.
