Obituary For Sandra Denise Coleman White

On the morning of January 12, 2023, the angels of heaven stopped by Sandra’s bedside at home and whispered silently “come with me”. They knew she was tired of her long battle with illness and her race was done.

Sandra Denise Coleman White was born February 5, 1960 in Buckingham Virginia. She was the daughter of the late James Earl Coleman and Mary Lee Turpin Coleman. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her savior and joined the Ridgeway Baptist Church of Dillwyn Virginia. She attended Buckingham County Public Schools and worked several manufacturing jobs until her illness made her unable. Notably, she worked for Liberty Fabrics and Klockner PentaPlast.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary and one sister, Lorretta. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving devoted husband, Curtis White Jr.; loving daughter, Kimberly White’ special granddaughter, Chastity Armstead; one God daughter, Jamise Vowels (Keisha) of Richmond, Virginia; one brother, Charles Coleman of Dillwyn, Virginia; one sister, Regina Maryland of Richmond, Virginia; three aunts, Betty Anderson (Fred) of Lewes, Delaware, Deborah Elam (Edward) of Eastern PEnsylvania, and Barnara Davis of Maplewood, New Jersey; one uncle, John Turpin of Dillwyn, Virginia; three special cousins who were like brothers, Willie, Steve and Mark Johnson; two special friends, Deidre Eldridge and Inez Opie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
